The Bible does not give any clear guidelines on local church membership. There are legal requirements that force us to count people, though. So, we simply follow what the Bible requires as members of the Body of Christ and follow the legal requirements, too.

If you are already an immersed believer in Christ, then you only need to let us know that you want to place your membership with us. We highly recommend taking an upcoming 1.0 Class prior to placing membership. This way you know the essentials about the church. Let us know after the 1.0 Class or at any time when you are ready to place your membership with us.
If you are not an immersed believer in Jesus, we'll help you take that step. Once we help you to become a member of the body of Christ "by grace through faith," we'll consider you a member, and ask that you attend an upcoming 1.0 Class unless you already have done so.

However you join, we'll welcome you with open arms and help you find ways to connect with your new church family. Right off the bat we'll encourage you to find a small group with which to participate. Paramount Christian Church is a growing and healthy group of believers, and we are happy the Lord continues to add to our numbers on a regular basis.
