Paramount Christian Church is very focused on pleasing God in every way possible. One of the ways we try to do this on an active basis is through reaching men and boys, and ministering to them. We understand that men and women, boys and girls have similarities, but also have differences. In our effort to reach the men and boys, we make note of their distinct needs.

The GYM (God Yielding Men) ministry covers this well. We have regular studies, usually following a heart-stopping good breakfast, that deal with subjects relevant and applicable to men. It's usually "in your face" and "down to earth." Average men and boys love it.

We do outdoor things like our annual Pre-Hunting Retreat and other guy things like tool shows and auto shows. We never sit around trying to get in touch with our feminine side. We don't watch cry movies. And we don't hold hands when we pray. Nope, we don't do anything hokey or girly. GYM is a guy thing.

This ministry is dedicated to helping men and boys live for God. Boys are taught to respect their mothers and sisters, and to show them dignity and honor. Men are taught to love their wives and kids, and to "step up to the plate" and "be a man" in their homes and at work. We believe it pleases God to develop our men to be what God wants them to be. That's what this part of PCC is all about.
