Wayne Aldridge

Wayne was born in a small coal mining town in Northern Alabama, one of six children.  Life was hard in the forties with the war just being over.  His family moved from a small rural town to the big city and life changed drastically.  The only child of six to graduate with a high school diploma, Wayne was drafted into the military and spent the next 21 years serving in many places in the world.  A combat veteran, some of his awards include a purple heart, combat infantry badge, master parachute badge, bronze star and numerous service awards.
Wayne met and married Nora on an assignment in Muscatine, Iowa.   After retiring from the army in Washington (Nora was born in Randal WA) Wayne looked for a place to continue as a working member of our society.  Jobs were very difficult to find in the late eighties.  After a long search,  Wayne was hired by Wilcox Farms.  Initially working in the Hens Department, Wayne has also worked in the Pullets Department and recently in the Hard Boiled Department.  Wayne & Nora are members of Paramount Christian Church since 2010 and an elder for the past 3 years.  Nora and I have been married for 34 years this April (19 Apr 1982) and we have four children, 2 boys and 2 girls. All live in the local area except our son Ben who is in the Air Force and will be returning to Washington after an absence of 12 years.   We all love the outdoors and spend most of our vacation time camping, hiking, fishing and just enjoying Gods Great Northwest.  Nora is involved with the Yelm worship team and spends lots of time with the grandkids as well as maintaining our Yelm home.  Nora is also involved with many National Prayer groups and Leads National Day of Prayer for Yelm.
